He can put a floppy disk in the drive, read it, copy data to it, eject it, put it in the industrial lathe, and copy the data files to it like normal. In the last month one of the users reported issues with his USB floppy drive which seems to correlate with the Windows 10Anniversary update.Navigating to the floppy drive in Device Manager and searching for driver updates. He can’t remember if it was on this PC when it was running Windows 7 or a previous PC. The only way we’ve found to cause it to read the disk is to unplug the USB cable from the PC and plug it back in or right click on the floppy drive in Windows Explorer, choosing format, cancelOut of the format screen, and then navigate into the floppy drive.Client just reported he had this issue in the past and at that point the workaround was to unplug the USB cable from the PC and plug it back in. I was unable to detect the second floppy drive within Windows. Trying a different USB floppy drive.
